Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our team. This position is to be based out of our Oakdale, MN office, but would consider Midwest adjacencies for the right candidate.

Responsibilities 

Primary responsibilities will include the assessment, design and construction of a wide range of stream and related resources projects including river restoration, stabilization, fish passage, flood management, stormwater management, water and sediment budgets, and water quality projects. 

Qualifications  

Minimum Requirements 

  • 12 years of experience in the private sector or comparable public sector experience
  • Considerable practical and construction experience a must
  • Degree in civil or environmental engineering, hydrology, geology, fisheries, or related science
  • Propensity for business development and the ability to immediately leverage contacts
  • Broad competency within the general fields of water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, and will also demonstrate significant depth of knowledge in fluvial geomorphology, sediment transport & stream ecology
  • Team player willing to mentor staff 

Preferred Credentials and Experience 

  • Additional expertise in TMDLs, water quality, fisheries, or related service areas
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering, hydrology, geology, fisheries, or related science
  • Licensed PE
