Care2 is hiring a new Senior Campaign Manager to join our campaign team based in Redwood City, California.

The Senior Campaign Manager will lead a client team working with advocacy and fundraising professionals at leading nonprofits to craft successful online campaigns targeting Care2 Web visitors and action alert subscribers. He or she will work creatively to maximize participation by Care2's millions of members, and delight our nonprofit partners by quickly fulfilling their advocacy, member recruitment, fundraising and other online campaigns. 

Mixing strong client management skills with superb persuasive writing, the new Senior Campaign Manager will manage a portfolio of long-term and fast-breaking campaigns for a wide range of nonprofits, unions, and political campaigns. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about progressive causes, experienced in online advocacy and fundraising, and a compelling writer. The candidate must be comfortable testing, analyzing, and improving campaign performance. 

Job Responsibilities: 

* Lead client interaction for client team's portfolio of campaigns
* Research, write, edit and test campaign creative, in consultation Care2's nonprofit clients
* Launch campaigns, then track, analyze and report results for Care2 and clients
* Effectively utilize Care2's Web site and social networking areas to promote campaigns for Care2's nonprofit clients 
* Interact by telephone and in meetings with broad array of nonprofit clients
* Help manage Care2's inventory of email alerts, e-newsletters and Web site placements for maximum effectiveness 
* Achieve monthly client team revenue targets while providing strong value to Care2's nonprofit partners 
* Contribute ideas to the Business Development, Marketing and Content teams to assist in establishing campaign pricing guidelines, as well as new products and services
* Participate in projects to boost yield, efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns 
* Represent Care2 effectively at external conferences and events, as assigned
* Provide strong project leadership within Care2, consistent with an upward career growth path 

Qualifications: 

* Three to five years experience in online fundraising, advocacy, membership cultivation and marketing. 
* Excellent relationship-building, consulting and client management skills 
* Self-starter, dynamic and able to thrive in an unstructured environment
* Excellent listening and communications skills to interact effectively with teammates, clients and others
* Superb writing and speaking skills 
* Strong work ethic and desire to work collaboratively
* An interest in, and passion for, progressive social issues and the environment
* Ability to work quickly under pressure and multi-task
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to help drive projects to completion 
* Demonstrated skills in using Excel and/or in managing quantitative data 
* Strong HTML and web graphics skills, including a high comfort level with Adobe Photoshop or ImageReady and the ability to handcode HTML 
* At least a college degree; higher education is a plus
