Triton provides a wide range of environmental management and services to municipal, provincial and federal agencies, independent power producers, oil and gas industries, urban and rural developers, forestry, mining, and transportation sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate with a group of ecology/biology professionals
- Provide technical, managerial, and business development support to various projects and initiatives
- Assist in report and proposal writing
- Leadership and mentoring of staff
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. is preferred in aquatic (freshwater, estuarine, marine), wetland, and/or terrestrial biology, ecology, restoration biology, or related science.
- Professional designation (P. Bio. or R.P.Bio.) or eligibility to obtain designation upon start of employment.
- 10 plus years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting and/or applied science.
- Strong business/client orientation with proven business development and client relationship skills.
- Must have a demonstrated record for identifying and successfully pursuing new clients and projects.
- Well-developed knowledge of natural resource management issues, programs, and systems of western Canada.
- Recognized professional contributions within and beyond technical peer network.
- Proven experience in staff and project team integration and team building with strong people development skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solution orientation.
- Ability/willingness to travel to field sites and other Triton office locations.
