Description
Here's an opportunity to support new solar power products in a start-up environment where your efforts can make a difference! You'll be a focal point of incoming customer contacts, as well as participate in high-level marketing discussions and activities. It's a real chance to become involved and be a key member of our team.
Responsibilities:
- As part of this job you'll receive and direct general, product and customer service inquiries to the appropriate internal staff.
- Answer basic product and investor information questions.
- Mail information as needed, gathering appropriate material and generating print and email correspondence.
- Assist with sales database maintenance, including sorting and reporting as well as occasional entry of sales information.
- Provide support to marketing and training departments with event planning and project coordination, including logistics and show arrangements.
- Coordinate shipping of products, and support other departments as required.
Specific Qualifications and Background:
- Articulate and personable; must have excellent communication skills for answering calls, greeting occasional visitors and responding to email inquiries.
- Prefer technology sales support background, ideally with an interest in environmentally friendly products and the renewable energy industry.
- Some college required; four-year degree preferred.
- Will work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a self-starter with detail-oriented work approach, comfortable with multi-tasking in a start-up environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
