Responsibilities

The Sales Associate will focus on sales and new business development opportunities at Preserve. Depending on the candidate's experience and background, the following responsibilities will be part of the role: 

• Collaborate with the sales team to assess and prioritize new channels and business development opportunities. 
• Introduce Preserve to retailers in key growth channels. 
• Develop relationships with new Preserve retailers.
• Manage relationships with Preserve's existing retailers in select channels. 
• Provide monthly executive summary with channel sales data and specific account challenges and successes. 

Qualifications 

Requirements: 

• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proven ability to establish and accomplish goals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and pride in accuracy and organization.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Sustainability experience preferred.

Compensation: Performance based compensation package made up of a salary base and percent of sales commission. Base salary is $35,000 with additional compensation through percent of new sales. Preserve management is confident that the Sales Associate has the ability to achieve commissions that will allow him or her to double the base salary.
