Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commissioning and retro-commissioning projects with minor supervision including scoping, pricing, overseeing of field work, client relationships, analysis and final report writing.
- Lead retro-commissioning projects with your knowledge of the design of mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, institutional and light industrial facilities as they relate to energy conservation.
- Lead RCx meetings with internal technical team and client meetings
- Assist our LEED project managers with commissioning LEED credits, field work, and documentation
- Minimal travel - outside of New York City area up to 10 times a year
Qualifications:
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience commissioning and/or retro-commissioning commercial buildings over 50,000sf
- Experience with major HVAC equipment operations and functional testing
- A major plus if you have one or more of the following: Registered Commissioning Professional, Professional engineering license, Certified Energy Manager
- Excellent writing skills required (writing samples required)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Interested in becoming part of the fast growing Green Building Industry at one of New York City's premier sustainability and energy efficiency companies
