Position Overview 

The Resource Efficiency Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, validating and analyzing VF's resource information systems that track utility bills, monitoring energy use, calculating the carbon footprint and collecting facility information for over 1,700 locations globally.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Maintain, validate and analyze VF's resource information systems that track utility bills, monitor energy use, calculate the carbon footprint and collect facility information for over 1,700 locations globally
  • Process large amounts of data to ensure completenes and accuracy, perform statistical analysis to identify trends and significant differences in relationships among sources of information
  • Assist in the governance and auditing of the data gathering processes
  • Prepare data for additional analysis or modeling; adjusting and weighting the raw data based on the statistical analysis or established methodologies
  • Compile reports, charts, or graphs that describe and interpret findings of analyses Investigate, monitor and track issues in the collection processes, information and supporting systems Interact with VF staff and service providers to resolve identified issues
  • Prepare and present oral or written reports on general and identified trends, data and issue management

Qualifications 

Job Requirements 

  • 2-3 years of related professional experience
  • BS/BA in data analytics, operations research, statistics, computer science, math or relevant field
  • Experience with COGNOS, SQL and SAP preferred
  • Experience with facilities management, sustainability, energy and carbon footprint calculations preferred

Skills 

  • The Resource Efficiency Analyst must be detail-oriented, mathematically inclined, highly proficient with computer systems and adept at data manipulation
  • High level of proficiency with the manipulating, processing and analysis of large data sets
  • High level of proficiency with data organization and analysis
  • Strong organizational & project management skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Critical thinking & analytical skills are a must when looking at how to report information
  • Proficient with a variety of software systems from database and spreadsheets to electronic flat files and online proprietary platforms
  • Ability to prepare presentations, written reports and supporting graphics
  • Understanding of data architecture, cubes and calculation methods

Special Requirements 

  • Travel both inside and outside of United States
