Position Overview:

As a result of recent successes, a growing pipeline, and new opportunities for market penetration, our Sales Team is expanding and we have an immediate need to hire a Renewable Energy Sales Associates.

In this role you will lead with Solar Electric, Solar Hot Water, Wind & Geothermal Technologies, Energy Efficiency Products & Services through Green Home Energy Audits, as well as Energy Management services. The main goal is to identify, initiate, and build relationships with residents, business owners, and municipalities and to sell Renewable Products & Services to new clients, as well as renewing annual agreements and expanding revenue opportunities within existing E2 Systems accounts.

Responsibilities:

As a key contributor to E2 Systems you will be responsible for renewing annual agreements with existing clients, selling additional products and services into existing clients as well as generating and closing new business opportunities. Your job will be to help the residents, companies and municipalities with strategies toward energy consumption reduction and sustainability.

You will need to assess account potential, working in collaboration with other team members on RFPs, building strong executive relationships, closing deals and working in tandem with client managers to identify additional service opportunities with existing clients, you will work to expand the solution footprint valued by customers and recognized in the market.

Maintaining data in ZOHO.com and other CRM platforms you will build and develop business pipelines and provide accurate sales forecast information. You will manage long and complex sales cycles, visiting and presenting to new and existing clients regularly, coordinating executive meetings, negotiating contracts, and closing business opportunities.

Focusing on existing key accounts you will build and execute a Strategic Account Sales Plan for each client. You will conduct face to face quarterly Executive Client Business Reviews, and will frequently meet with client managers to identify client up sell opportunities and find solutions to retain at-risk clients.

The Renewable Energy Sales Associate must be able to clearly articulate E2 Systems' complete solution offering, clearly demonstrate the value of its products and services to clients and prospects and maintain a positive working relationship with the clients and team members. You will be a champion for and will exemplify the customer centric sales approach. You will drive sales processes with client needs at the forefront of all decisions and you will consistently demonstrate high integrity in your work.

Qualifications:

As our ideal candidate, you possess a Bachelor's degree and 5 years sales experience. You have 2 years of experience successfully selling Energy Consulting Products & Services to a range of residential, business and municipal entities (or sales of a similar nature).

You have a strong executive presence and superior written and oral communication skills. Your proven track record includes closing deals valuing over $250K and managing long sales cycles (typically 6 to 9 months in duration).

Peers and employers know you as an enthusiastic self starter who is great at building trust and long lasting relationships. You are highly organized and willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
