POSITION OVERVIEW
The Renewable Energy Construction Site Project Manager manages all aspects of one or more construction projects. Responsible for the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project mobilization phases through completion. Coordinates with vendors, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure alignment on project plans, budgets, and schedules. Tracks progress against timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
Expected hours: 40 per week - and willingness to travel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full construction project lifecycle, from mobilization through completion.
- Meet with vendors, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
- Coordinate resources and track project progress against established timelines and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company policies performing and documenting quality inspections.
- Manage material delivery scheduling, receiving, inspection and distribution of documentation.
- Deliver reports on site activity, progress, and any challenges to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership to on-site construction crews.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on solar or renewable energy projects preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of storm water controls, solar wire management, and construction best practices.
- OSHA 10 certification or higher.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in managing project schedules and identifying critical path items.
- Skilled in balancing priorities and adjusting strategies to deliver optimal outcomes while minimizing risk.
- Strong desire to be part of a goal-oriented, collaborative, and egoless team focused on achieving customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability.
COMPENSATION
- Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
