Our client, Rittmeyer, develops, manufactures and installs equipment, instrumentation and process control system solutions for the water and energy sector. Their extensive expertise in these areas guarantees quality and continuity, and a considerable contribution to supplying the public with fresh drinking water, power and gas as well as to an environmentally friendly treatment of waste water and the availability of renewable hydropower. Today Rittmeyer AG employs 300 people globally.
Position Overview:
We're offering an opportunity to assume a Regional Sales Engineer role charged with driving the growth of a state of the art portfolio of measuring systems for pressure, level, flow, angle and position as well as turnkey process control systems for the water and energy supply, power plants and process and environmental engineering.
Responsibilities:
- In this regional sales position, you will be responsible for the top line development of the sales of equipment, instrumentation and process control systems solutions in the New England region and Eastern Canada.
- You will be tasked with strengthening Rittmeyer via client acquisition and cultivating partnerships with our existing customers through effective sales and customer service.
Qualifications:
The right individual will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in solution sales, business development or account management role within the hydro power and/or water market
- Proven track record in selling to both public and private sector
- Understanding flowmeter technology and applications
- Experience in working for European companies
- Willingness to travel up to 50% mainly within USA and Canada, also some international travelling is required
- Ability to work independently from home office
