Position Overview:
The Regional Director will manage the operations and some part of sales for one of these regions: Phoenix, AZ, Denver, CO or Honolulu, HI.
Emphasis will be placed on hiring new and managing current team members to streamline operations. This position will have several local project managers reporting to him/her with constructing projects ranging from 1 kW to 250 kW in size. The regional director will have responsibility for the development and operations of new territories and will manage the P L for a multi-million dollar region.
Required Skills/Experiences:
- Strong leadership skills - ability to organize, utilize and motivate team members to meetinstallation goals
- Experience hiring and managing teams of people
- Positive ‘can-do' attitude
- Basic business accounting knowledge
- Experience managing a P/L statement
- World class communication and customer service skills
- Experience managing multiple construction projects
- Ability to work long hours as required in order to ensure branch offices and team members work to optimal efficiently on a daily basis
- Knowledge of the NEC Code, Universal Building Code and building materials
- Experience supervising and managing subcontractors in other trades
- Experience working with city/county permitting offices and inspectors
- Proficiency on a PC computer in MS Office (Emphasis on Excel, Outlook)
- Strong math and computer skills
- 4 plus years in the construction industry
