Position Overview

Do you love to work in a multi-cultural business environment and speak English and German fluently? Currently we are looking for a friendly receptionist for our FLOCERT Office in Bonn.

As a receptionist you will cover the ground floor reception area which includes the conference rooms and cafeteria. You will bring administrative skills and commitment to provide excellent customer service and ability to handle multiline telephone system to manage the front desk operations efficiently.

The start date for this position is in July or August, or as soon as possible. The office language is English. 

Responsibilities 

  • Welcome staff, customers and international guests
  • Handle the reception desk and telephone switchboard of FLOCERT and Fairtrade International
  • Administrate and coordinate the conference area, meeting rooms and booking system
  • Administrate and coordinate company events and activities
  • Register and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Administrate and distribute FLOCERT emails and answer inquiries when necessary
  • Substitute for office administrator

Qualifications 

Must haves: 

  • Professional education as Receptionist, Management Assistant, Foreign/ Multi-lingual secretary, Office
  • clerk, Office Administrator or any other related qualification
  • Work experiences of 1 year as a receptionist, assistant and personal secretary or any other related office
  • position
  • High command of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and in the general use of information systems, such as video projector, teleconference etc.
  • Business Fluent in English and very good command of German
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Strong initiative and solution orientated working attitude
  • Strong soft skills and the ability for cross-cultural communication
  • A reliable, stress resistant and flexible team player 

Nice to have: 

  • Proven skills in customer orientation and service delivery
  • Language Skills in Spanish 
Compensation: Salary is paid according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement Category Whole- and Foreign Sale North Rhine-Westphalia, salary range IV plus an attractive benefits package.
