Position Overview:

Established, respected and growing nutraceutical manufacturer in Ogden, Utah seeks Quality Specialist. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or other related science discipline and have 3+ year(s) Quality experience in the field of Dietary Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or Food manufacturing or packaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Facility maintains compliance with GMP, all applicable FDA and USDA regulations and all certification requirements
  • Managing all aspects of change control and the Quality interface between multiple facilities
  • Maintaining accurate and complete Quality records in hard copy and electronically within ERP system
  • Performing quality control sampling, in-process quality assurance inspection and document review
  • Documenting & performing GMP training sessions for all team members, including team member training and qualification records

Qualifications:

The successful applicant has:

  • A strong understanding of Quality Systems
  • Excellent organization, communication, critical analysis, decision making and observational skills
  • Thorough knowledge of GMP and US FDA regulations for Dietary Supplements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude with enterprise resource planning software, Excel, Word, and e-mail programs
