Genesis Today's products are sold worldwide with offices in Austin, Texas (HQ), Salt Lake City, Utah and Seoul, South Korea. This position is based in Austin, Texas (HQ).

Position Overview:

The Manager of Quality Assurance and Control will oversee all internal and external matters related to the quality of Genesis Today products including juices and other beverages and nutrition supplements. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Research and Development, Quality Control and Technical Affairs and supports other operations of the company.

Beverage manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all quality control and quality assurance aspects of products, from proper processes at our farms or raw material suppliers to proper processes at our manufacturers and co-packers.
• Receiving finished product in our Genesis Today facilities, quarantine product, inspect product, document QC steps, testing as necessary, secure FDA retains, release acceptable goods.
• Manage all internal quality assurance, quality control and laboratory procedures and develop new capabilities as directed.
• Manage all documentation in relation to both internal and external audits and in compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
• Participate in product develop process and other activities within the company

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Food Science or Technical field required.
• 3+ years quality experience in a juice or beverage manufacturing is required
• Experience in nutrition supplements is desirable
• Management experience is desirable
• Laboratory and quality control methods of analysis and product integrity and product testing experience
• Experience and understanding of regulatory issues, compliance standards such as cGMPs, 21 CFR, HACCP, Food labeling, etc
• Experience as a quality assurance and control auditor
• Self motivated and productive as well as a team asset
• Willing to Relocate: Yes
• Willing to Travel: Yes
• Minimum Experience Required: 3-5 years
