Position Overview:
Country Home Products is seeking an organized, dynamic individual with excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate global procurement/purchasing activities for the Country Home Product Brands of DR® Power line-up of outdoor power equipment, Sunward solar energy products and Neuton battery powered mowers. This position will be located in both Vergennes and Winooski, VT.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have proven experience in developing purchasing strategies and procedures, effective negotiating and analytical skills, be able to interpret engineering documentation and be motivated to meet (and exceed) profit goals.
- An ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in purchasing, manufacturing and inventory control and be able to implement this knowledge to manage relationships with our worldwide suppliers.
- An Engineering degree and/or background would be a plus.
- Applicants must be proficient in ERP and Manufacturing Systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
