Position Overview
WegoWise is seeking to fill a "Project Specialist - Analytics" position. We are seeking someone who works well in a team, but can also work autonomously much of the time. Being able to find a good balance between asking questions and trying to solve problems independently will be key.
Candidate should readily adapt to changing systems and workloads, be creative and flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be skilled at analysis, detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets, capable of keeping well-organized records, skilled at working with Excel, and able to readily learn new software.
The company is in a high growth phase and this is an exciting junior-level position with great opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Work with a motivated team providing support to new and existing clients.
- Primarily this will involve supporting our Premium product through the generation of reports and by ensuring data quality.
- WegoWise Premium reports provide our customers with insight into the energy and water use in their buildings and help them achieve savings.
- Additionally, this role may include demonstrating the company's products and services, assisting new clients with the onboarding process, and assisting the technical team in improving the software's features, reliability, and deployment.
- As needed, you may be asked to work on other projects related to data integrity or other analytical or reporting functions as our suite of products expands.
Qualifications
Experience
- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree.
- A background in building science or related experience in the energy efficiency field is a plus but past experience in the utility management area is not required.
- Candidates should be very comfortable with internet applications and productivity software like Word and Power Point. Advanced Excel skills are an integral part of this role. You will be trained in the use of our product and expected to become highly knowledgeable about the platform.
- You will be expected to work well gathering data from a variety of sources and enjoy interacting with others to accomplish tasks.
- It is important the candidate is comfortable interacting with customers to collect and process utility and building information.
- The candidate should be at ease communicating with customers on the phone and be able to explain technical subjects in an easy to understand manner.
