Position Overview
With hundreds of experienced staff, 40 years of experience, and over a thousand completed projects, my client is a leader in the renewable energy industry focusing on offering solutions for all major renewable energy technologies including solar photovoltaic, wind energy, biomass, hydro and wave technology, marine energy, solar thermal, and geothermal.
Primary Purpose
The RE Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple small to medium sized services projects, and/or a small EPC projects.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties
- Serve as the Project Manager on multiple small to medium size Renewable Energy (RE) consulting and engineering services projects
- Develop new RE business and work with the RE Sales and Marketing team under the guidance of the Project Director
- The PM will help to implement the Renewable Energy Business Plan and oversee budgets
Qualifications
You will have:
- Must have P.E. license as well as utility-scale renewables experience with a strong preference for Solar PV experience
- Strong, related experience in renewable energy
- Excellent knowledge and application of PM processes
- Good knowledge and application of Financial Management
- Ability to lead medium sized teams
- Understanding and application of contract commercial terms
- Demonstrated skills for managing low risk projects
Additonally:
- Management Experience Required - No
- Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
- Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
Compensation: Base salary is competitive and the positon is bonus eligible and offers full benefits. Relocation assistance is available and interview travel can be reimbursed.
