Description
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Environmental Planning and Assessment has a vacancy for a Project Manager. The selected candidate will assist in the coordination, maintenance and analyses of data directly relevant to the design of natural resource projects.
The candidate will also be required to assist in preparing statistical presentation materials of analyses of existing proposed restoration and assist in the investigation and research on special planning projects. In addition, the candidate will be expected to assist in maintaining statistical Geographic Information System (GIS) to record completed projects and forecast predictions or estimates of impacts of future projects.
Preferred Skills: The successful candidate is required to have a good working knowledge of local plant ecology, natural resources processes and soil chemistry/plant interactions.
Qualification: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration, and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in the planning, administering or expediting of engineering design and/or construction, or coordinating an engineering project.
Salary Range: 40,663 - 61,015
