Description
The Project Manager will serve as the lead for 1 SCA staff member and 10 Interns working in partnership with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and other local public organizations and non-profits to complete and promote conservation service throughout the Adirondack State Park.
Duties:
The Project Manager is directly responsible for managing all aspects of the SCA Residential AmeriCorps Program.
This includes facilitating community and individual growth through community building activities and training, overseeing program development and implementation, evaluation, risk assessment and management, budget management, logistical coordination, field program support, preparation for FY 05 programming, and technical support.
The Adirondack Project Manager directly oversees the conservation service component of the program, including all service projects completed for state, local and other natural resource agencies, and will work with other SCA staff to ensure safe and appropriate service projects are coordinated with these agencies.
