Description

Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI) is a non-profit organization based in San Rafael, Marin County.  Through funding from federal, state, municipal, private foundations and other client organizations, SEI helps school districts, colleges and universities, municipal governments, affordable housing and utility clients to design and implement energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy initiatives, in addition to offering green workforce trainings and career advancement resources.

We approach energy savings from several different perspectives and on many levels.  Drawing from a broad range of practical knowledge, we create networks of individuals and communities that are key to successful sustainable energy projects.  Our staff members work closely in a team-oriented environment supporting each other on projects and creatively developing new opportunities.

We're looking for a resourceful individual to join our staff that enjoys supporting multiple projects simultaneously and has the ambition to grow with our organization. More details on current SEI programs and services can be found at SEI.

Municipal Sector:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of energy measures and strategies, develop greenhouse gas inventories and climate action plans
  • Facilitate municipal client decision-making about sustainability topics through workshops and meetings.
  • Research and document municipal best practices in sustainability policy, programs and funding.
  • Develop recommendations to clients on the availability of technical, educational and financial resources for energy efficiency, building performance, climate change and other sustainability topics.
