Position Overview:

The Program Developer role at Recycling Services Inc is focused on customer service, Program Development, Program Maintenance, Marketing support and the administration of departmental related tasks.  

Responsibilities:

The specific elements of this job are:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and issues, including missed pick-ups, special pick-up requests and special reports such as activity (tonnage) or environmental reports.
  • Schedule and follow-up on equipment repairs at accounts.
  • Other customer service duties as required.
  • Receive and place orders for recycling equipment and supplies.
  • Schedule, coordinate and manage shipments of orders.
  • Track and maintain recycling program inventory.
  • Submit related paperwork to accounting for billing.
  • Conduct building walk-throughs / reviews and prepare related reports.
  • Work with property managers and cleaning contractors to develop implementation timelines
  • Provide training and education for program users and collection staff.
  • Work with property managers on program promotion including flyers, presentation and events.
  • Other support to Sales Reps and Account Managers as required.
  • Implement & Coordinate marketing program.
  • Coordinate Environmental Report, including design, messaging, content and distribution.  Update and maintain distribution list as required.
  • Oversee development, design and print of collateral, promotional and business development materials for all business lines
  • Work with management team in strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Website management - keep website current.  Track page views and inquiries. 
  • Plan and attend meet and greets as required.
  • Complete special projects including re-designing the desk-side container, developing a video, completing presentation books, welcome kit, banners and napkin re-design.
  • Manage special marketing initiatives and events, including Earth Day, Clean Out Your Files Day and America Recycles Day.  Coordinate participation in CREN events.
  • Assist in developing and sending proposals.
  • Develop other reports as required
  • Other support to Sales Reps and Account Managers as required.
  • Coordinate and conduct school tours.
  • Preparation of proposals for new business.

Qualifications:

Desired Education/Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of business experience
  • BA degree preferred.

Compensation: Starting Salary $35-$40,000 annually
