Position Overview: 

Conduct the operation (application and diagnosis) of the systems deployed by Petra Solar in order to provide monitoring, diagnosis, support to customers, maintain consistency of the system information, create statistics and reports of operational data and performance of the units, and develop new applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with product development department (R&D) to understand the system design, and develop testing/evaluation plans that will facilitate evaluation/approval.
  • Assist in "product championing" during the prototype & introduction phase of new products. This includes such activities as product benchmark testing, literature (data sheets, process guides, application notes) development, presentation material development, technical article development, and conducting presentations at key OEM's and industry seminars to introduce the product.
  • Identify product requirements for existing and new programs. Support product management & engineering to obtain specifications for new product development
  • Provide Customer Support of existing deployments and help customers to diagnose
  • Field and lab troubleshooting

Qualifications:

Technical Skills/ Knowledge:

  • Hands on technical experience with RF Design, (5 years Experience)
  • Digital and RF communications performance analysis
  • Developing systems requirements
  • Performing communications technology assessments.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of MS Access a plus
  • Java \C Knowledge

Independence/ Accountability:

  • Ability to interpret and disseminate information, prepare reports and use of the appropriate mode of communication.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Creative thinking, decision making acumen, & problem solving skills
  • Analytical and with great curiosity

Customary Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
