Process Engineer, solar panel manufacturing company
We are looking for Process Engineers who want to break out of the box and work for a cutting-edge, high tech, solar panel manufacturing company. The Company has developed a breakthrough thin-film application process that will position it as the low-cost, highest efficiency producer in its industry. The Process Engineer will be a critical contributor to the Company's future success.
The Process Engineer will play a key role in developing, continuously improving and documenting robust solar module manufacturing processes to achieve the highest product performance at the lowest possible manufacturing costs.
You will be primarily responsible for the metrics of module reliability, conversion efficiency and manufacturing yield. You will work very closely with Manufacturing to reduce material and labor content in the product and ensure that production schedules are met. We will also look to you to provide extensive support to scale up process and equipment for an aggressive factory expansion. Experience in the encapsulation/finishing areas may lead to additional responsibilities.
If you are a high energy, aggressive Process Engineer who can operate effectively in a strong team oriented environment, have a minimum 4 year college degree in a technical discipline, at least 3-5 years engineering experience working at a world-class Semiconductor Fabrication company (or similar high tech industry), possess excellent data handling skills and a strong background in continuous improvement/quality tools (especially Robust Engineering/Design of Experiments, SPC, 6 Sigma, and FMEA), apply today!
