We currently have an opening in our Client Records department for an Operations Associate.
This individual will:
Maintain records for a subset of accounts using reconciliation software
Troubleshoot portfolio management issues with regard to reconciliation
Optimize/create reports for Advent Axys software
Write macros/programs/scripts to support a variety of functions, including operations, investment research and portfolio management
Ideally, this candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field with 1-2 years of experience in business, mathematics, finance or economics. High attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and accurately are important. In addition, we require strong communication skills to interact with all levels in the organization and someone who can take direction as well as work independently or in a team.
The candidate also needs excellent PC skills with in-depth knowledge of Excel a must. Experience with or the aptitude to learn and proficiently use several software packages a plus. Applications used include: Advent Axys, Dataport, Rex, Qube, MS Access, MS Excel including macros, Visual Basic, SQL, Factset and Northfield.
