Position Overview:
Are you a student with a strong understanding of online communications? Can you build a Facebook and/or YouTube landing page, make updates to a site using a Content Management System and html and possess a basic understanding of Google Analytics? If the answers to the above are yes, we have a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and execution of major marketing
- Assist with the design, implementation and management of social media
- Assist with website development and design tasks for various seasonal events
- Work with marketing and sales initiatives
- Respond to media inquiries and requests
Qualifications:
College Junior or Senior with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A grade point average of 2.5 or higher
- Professional presentation and friendly demeanor
- Ability to complete projects ahead of or by deadlines
- Ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Punctuality
- Excellent research and writing skills to contribute to our ongoing research studies on impact of online communications technologies on the media, public affairs, etc.

This internship is offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters (hours differ based on season). Fall and spring internships require a minimum 12 hour weekly commitment. Interns will typically have a Monday through Friday schedule, but may require some evenings and weekends. This is an unpaid position although you may be eligible to receive college credit, check with your college for details.
