Ad Energy is a rapidly growing residential solar finance company based in Brooklyn, New York. The Ad Energy team is a skilled group of folks with a passion for solar and a passion for life. We are looking for bright individual to fill a full time office manager position who shares our passions and wants to help grow our business.
Position Overview:
The Office Manager plays a central role in Ad Energy's day to day operations. This person's primary functions will be organizational and administrative, but as true with most growing companies, the ideal candidate will wear many hats and should expect to be significantly involved in all levels of Ad Energy's operations.
On top of administrative tasks, this person should be comfortable with everything from marketing to customer relations to process development to human relations to data entry and management. She/he will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, be self-motivated, have a high level of tech savvy and be excited to learn the intricacies of working in the renewable energy sector and helping to build a company. There is no lack of work and no limit on the level of responsibility this position may undertake.
Responsibilities:
General administration:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling
- Mailing
- Filing
- Scanning
- Office organization
- Ordering office supplies
- Data management
Recruiting and hiring:
- Writing job postings
- Scheduling interviews
Customer support:
- Calling and providing customer support
- Coordinating various customer related needs
Develop administrative operations and processes
Help in the creation of marketing and promotional material
Write and edit emails, press releases and presentations
Qualifications:
Critical competencies for a successful candidate:
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- The ability to respond to multiple changing needs of a small company
- A passion for renewable energy is a must.
Excellent computer skills in the following programs:
- Adobe Acrobat
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Excel
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree
- Prior work experience
