Position Overview

National conservation organization seeks a regular, full-time Northern California Program Manager. Position to be located in Northern California.

Responsibilities

  • Position oversees and facilitates Lake Tahoe West stakeholder interagency meetings with the U.S. Forest Service, local communities, state agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to support National Forest Foundation strategic plan and long-term goals in California;
  • Develops and oversees contents for administrative and communication materials;
  • Serves as contact for agency, public audiences, press and media;
  • Manages grants and multiple sub-contracts and prepares reports; and
  • Raises funds for California Programmatic work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (but prefer graduate level) in conservation, forestry, planning, environmental science or related field; and
  • 5 years' in related field. 

Compensation: Excellent compensation package.
