Position Overview:

The Intern will assist staff with a number of projects including:

  • Working as a team with SLM staff to develop working applications in various media and in a timely manner
  • Catalog and organize existing multimedia assets for publication, manage the release of new media through the company's website
  • Determine appropriate media, and materials to be produced
  • Schedule, coordinate and prioritize media projects to ensure effective and efficient results
  • Manage post production of SB'10 Conference Footage
  • Assist in budget preparation, providing input as to what materials, supplies, and equipment are needed
  • Work with Event Operations Manager to design stage set and A/V-Media locations
  • Manage stage at SB'10 Conference in Monterey, CA June 7 - 10
  • Work 16 hours per week, of which at least 8 from our office in San Francisco

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledgeable about a wide variety of state-of-the-art graphics media, materials, supplies, and equipment, as well as their uses and applications
  • Knowledgeable about uses and operation of photographic and video equipment and materials
  • Knowledgeable about effective communication methods, both oral and written
  • Proficient and experienced with Flash
  • Have a good grasp of video eiting tools; experienced with basic audio and video editing
  • The ideal candidate would also feel confident producing/editing video projects
  • Understanding of Stage Production - Stage Design, Camera Locations, Presenting logistics including assisting presenters with their tech needs
