Organic Valley is seeking a proven Territory Manager in the Midwest due to the growth and success of our brand. Ideal candidates should have mass market and natural foods experience, experience managing a multi-state region, experience with managing a fiscal budget and multiple brokers, proficient MS-Office Skills, merchandising experience and above all energy, enthusiasm and a burning desire to succeed. Position Responsibilities:
*
Plan, organize & conduct sales calls at supermarket headquarters and key Natural Food store accounts.

*Presentation of new items to gain authorizations.

*Conduct broker work-withs to accomplish MBO goals.

*Cut products onto the shelf, reset sections, conduct scratch store sets, place POS.

*Accomplish key distributor & retail distribution goals.

*Analyze & enhance product mix at account level including work with planograms.

*Create, monitor & execute promotional programs.

*Assist in training of brokers, distributor sales reps & retailer education.

*Communicate field observations & gather intelligence on competitive activities.

*Maintain database of contacts, authorizations & promotional activities.

*Execute sales incentive programs for brokers & distributor sales personnel.

*Assist Telemarketing Staff with selling of close dated product, over stocked product, and effectively launch new products.

*Coordinate and participate in all aspects of regional table tops and trades shows.

*Monitor & correct distribution voids including placement of turnover orders.

Qualifications:
*
This position requires self-motivation, self- direction & strong organizational skills.

*Ability to analyze and identify the dynamics necessary to successfully grow a branded Consumer products business.

*Perishables is a plus but not required.

*Strong communication skills both verbal & written.

*Three years minimum experience in the sale & distribution of consumer food products.

*Required computer skills include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Outlook will also be utilized in this position as an organizational & communication tool.

*Extensive travel required.
