~ The Land Trust for Tennessee ("LTTN") is a statewide, accredited non-profit land conservation organization with both urban and farm offices in Nashville and an office in Chattanooga. ~
Now in our 17th year, LTTN has protected over 113,000 acres through over 330 diverse conservation projects across Tennessee. Tennessee's landscapes are diverse with farms; vast forests; rivers of local and international significance; fragile and robust wildlife habitats; and some of the fastest growing cities and towns in our country. LTTN seeks a collaborative professional to join our committed team and our highly-regarded board in this full-time position.
Position Overview
- The Member Relations Coordinator reports to the Director of Member Relations and assists the President /CEO and the VP of Conservation with careful attention to detail and customer-focus. He or she thrives on being a confident, competent aid, but also enjoys working independently on projects that support and promote the conservation mission of LTTN.
Responsiblities
- Manage the donor and potential donor database; manage its growth, accuracy and reporting functions.
- Manage and execute email, social media and direct mail fund-raising communications.
- Produce timely, accurate and comprehensive fund-raising reports.
- Manage established grants tracking calendar.
- Manage established pledge fulfillment and acknowledgement system.
- Accomplish a broad variety of administrative tasks, including managing an active calendar through Outlook, completing expense reports, arranging travel plans, itineraries, agendas and other materials for meetings.
- Act as first line for member relations phone calls, making priority judgments related to best course, ensuring colleagues' time is spent on priority items.
- Produce documents as assigned.
- Provide support for staff retreats and special events.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- College degree or minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting are required.
- Strong writing skills and computer literacy are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, and proficiency in PowerPoint is desired.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment and the desire to master new software are essential.

- You are positive.
- You work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- You are able and willing to work some early mornings, evenings, weekends and to travel.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
