Position Overview  

B|E
Retrofit is searching for a Marketing Intern that is energetic and eager to
take on responsibility in a growing company. 
The internship is scheduled for 10-weeks and is based in the company's
Woburn, MA office with the flexibility to work off-site when appropriate.  

The Marketing Intern will work directly with
the founders of the company and with our external marketing partner, an
experienced marketing industry professional. 
The Marketing Intern will play a pivotal role in the company's ongoing expansion
phase.  

Responsibilities  

The
Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting all of the company's business
development and outreach efforts. B|E
Retrofit partners with energy services companies, contractors and building
owners on weatherization and mechanical insulation energy saving projects. Developing rock-solid relationships with our
target clients is the foundation of our success. The Marketing Intern will help us solidify
existing relationships and develop new partnerships. 

Responsibilities will include, but will not be
limited to:

• Conduct market research to analyze and segment
  prospective clients
• Help develop the targeted list of potential
  clients; hyper-target individual key influencers within prospective client
  companies through in-depth research
• Support with the design of outreach efforts for
  each target client segment including digital, direct mail, social media
  and any other creative approach (bring your ideas!)
• Run short-term marketing experiments, track
  effectiveness of individual marketing efforts and make recommendations for
  adopting or eliminating campaigns based on analyzing data
• Support in the development of the company's CRM
  system

• Demonstrated success in working as part of a

• A desire and ability to actively problem-solve
  and to get better everyday
• Experience in a start-up or energy efficiency
  is a plus
• Social media and technology savvy is a must
• 4-year bachelor's degree minimum 

Compensation: Competitive
hourly compensation is offered and will be discussed during the interview
process.  All team members are eligible
for incentive pay based on performance.
