Position Overview
We seek a bright, highly-motivated, part-time intern who can assist with a variety of marketing and social media functions.
This is a virtual part-time position, with flexible hours, which could complement a full-time job or another part-time internship. Ideally candidates will be in greater Atlanta, but can be located anywhere.
We have offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Atlanta, and are planning a large event in Atlanta in 2018.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as an intern would primarily include the following:
- Marketing: social and digital media support
- Brochure design, digital and print
Qualifications
Desirable candidates will be experienced in:
- Marketing and range of social media (MailChimp experience a plus)
- Graphics
- Effective communicators (verbal and written)
- Some event planning and scheduling (a plus)
- DIY web experience a plus (WIX)
- Open to new experiences and developing new skills
- Open to work part-time on a variable schedule
Education and Work Experience Preferred:
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Social Media or Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Sustainability, or similar
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
Compensation: Minimum $100 monthly stipend, open to negotiation, with potential option to continue part-time if a good fit
