Position Overview
Solect is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to help coordinate and manage all marketing and lead generation activities.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and executing multiple marketing activities including website administration, online marketing and advertising, content creation, event coordination, email marketing, and social media. He/She will be a driven, self-starter with a passion for the solar industry and the desire to propel a fast-growing Solar Development firm to regional prominence.
The position requires the ability to manage a large volume of projects while demonstrating excellent communication. The ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a key to success in this role. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team and participate in the solar (PV) industry from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point person for outside vendors (creative / web development / PR firms)
- Maintain and manage all branding standards, updating as needed (design/branding, content creation/messaging)
- Manage development and updates of all sales collateral (sell sheets, case studies, website content)
- Manage all online accounts including Google Adwords and other listings (profile consistency, accurate contact info, strategically lending to SEO)
- Manage and maintain website content and administration (daily activities, landing page creation, blog posts, form responses, broken links, etc.) as directed
- Manage all social media activities (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Solar Reviews)
- Coordinate materials for trade shows / business expos as approved by Marketing Director
- Create content and execute email marketing campaigns (including a quarterly newsletter) through Constant Contact; Manage mailing lists, replies/leads
- Coordinate and manage integrated marketing campaigns as directed
- Occasional travel to attend events, conferences, and trade shows
Qualifications
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience required
- 1+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including the ability to comfortably adapt and create content
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Energetic, positive, enthusiastic, and a team player
- Knowledge and experience in solar (PV) energy and a passion for renewable energy a plus
