The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) helps utilities, businesses and consumers reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by developing and supporting U.S. and Canadian initiatives to accelerate market adoption of advanced energy-efficient products and services.
Members of the Consortium include utilities, statewide and regional market transformation administrators, environmental groups, research organizations and state energy offices in the United States and Canada. Members serve more than one half of the U.S. and one third of the Canadian populations, and expend more than $2 billion annually on efficiency programs.
Position Overview:
The Manager of Member Services at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency has lead responsibility for initiating new member representatives to the organization and providing a central point of contact for member inquiries. The position facilitates cross functional work relations that are targeted to enhance member value and resolve issues raised by member representatives. This position is expected to be filled within the next 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Lead responsibility for designing, managing and implementing systems and processes to meet organizational service objectives
- Joint responsibility for effective integration of the function with other functions, systems and processes of the organization (including the 6 sector areas, and the communications, finance, IT and recruiting functions)
- Develop, manage and implement a new member orientation process
- Develop, manage and implement an ongoing member support process
- Manage inbound member inquiries ensuring follow through on response
- Potential supervisory responsibility
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Problem solving mindset with service orientation
- Knowledge of client management software and processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Well organized
- Effective communicator
- Ability to work well with others
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Business Administration (others may be appropriate)
- 4 years (minimum) experience in a client or customer service role
- Interest in energy efficiency
