Description

The U.S. Green Building Council, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a new staff member to support its rapidly-growing LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System program.

The LEED Workshop Program Manager will oversee the rapidly-growing LEED Workshop program, including the scheduling and delivery of 15-20 workshop sessions nationwide each month and the development of new training curricula.

Additional responsibilities include program and budget planning; staff and contractor management; event scheduling and marketing; sponsor recruitment; partnership development; and financial oversight.

Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and 8-10 years of relevant educational program development and/or event planning experience. Excellent communications, organizational and computer skills (MS Office and database) required. Environmental, nonprofit or building industry experience preferred.
