Description
Michael W. Folonis, Architects is an award winning and growing architectural design office. This is an excellent opportunity for a team oriented and talented designer. The position is a full-time and available immediately.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include work closely with the principal and be an integral member of the design team from the schematic design phase through the construction document phase.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must, hold a BArch or March degree, minimum 1-2 years experience, should be design-oriented, possess a strong design portfolio with excellent organizational and communication skills, willing to take on responsibilities, and is highly self motivated. Must have excellent graphic/presentation and rendering skills, be familiar in particular with ArchiCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design and other graphic programs. Knowledge of environmentally sensitive and sustainable building systems and products is also desirable but not required. Applicants should currently be living in the Los Angeles area.
