IT Intern

Position Overview

The IT intern will work alongside our small but busy IT department as they assist our creative, friendly staff with a variety of client support needs. Applicants should expect to strengthen their existing IT skillset and learn new IT skills. 

Responsibilities  

Some potential tasks may include: 

• Imaging workstations
• Assisting users with IT problems
• Maintaining the IT team's equipment inventory
• Reporting failed hardware to Dell tech support staff
• Researching new technologies
• Assisting with Windows 7 migration
• Special projects as needed 

Qualifications 

• Previous experience with Windows/Mac desktop support is required
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems, specifically ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Online
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong online research skills
• Ability to work well independently
• Enthusiasm for protecting the environment
