Position Overview:
The IT Associate will oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure strategy at Groundswell. As the lead technology specialist, s/he will administer and oversee various systems including CRM projects implementations from conceptualization to deployment. S/he will play a pivotal role in enhancing and administering Salesforce.com CRM system and will act as primary trainer, customize layouts/views, and understand the business enough to find and suggest tools for efficiencies and improving user productivity. The candidate will leverage strong planning, project management and technical skills to achieve significant results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions around IT solutions.
- Lead evaluation of various new technologies, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Define business technology requirements and implement changes based upon best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding CRM systems configuration, application workflow, and business rules.
- Play a hands-on role in customization and CRM application enhancement, leveraging experience with built-in admin, reporting, data migration, and development tools.
- Develop and constantly enhance reporting both inside and outside CRM system.
- Train and support staff on Salesforce.com CRM and other systems.
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Ability to design IT solutions for various programmatic needs (e.g. program specific CRM), as well as general organizational IT needs (e.g. internal network and communication platforms).
- Extensive experience implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Salesforce certification (preferred) and experience that includes:
- Utilizing summary and matrix scheduled reports.
- Building dashboards.
- Utilizing workflow rules.
- Administering 3rd party applications.
- Understanding SF permissions.
- Understands and values user friendly design.
- Experience developing and implementing deployment cycle of technology solutions (knows how to create solutions and systematically roll out new features, developments, and changes as to not overwhelm end users).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to demonstrate proficiency in business and functional requirements writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player.
- Must be organized, focused, and driven towards established deliverable dates and timelines.
- Experience managing projects using external consultants or ISP (independent software providers).
- Experience working under resource constraints.
- Experience with change control within quality management systems (QMS).
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include 403(b) retirement and matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, and 15 paid vacation days per year (starting).
Groundswell averages 14-16 paid company holidays (including all federal holidays and a week during winter holidays), adheres to a 37.5 hour work week with a compensatory time policy for over-time work, and, when job responsibilities allow, periodic flexibility in work schedule and location.
