Internship Opportunities Socially Responsible Investing

SOCIAL RESEARCH PROGRAM (3 positions available - study group/classmates preferred)

The Social Research Program offers interns the opportunity to become involved with the everyday activities at Citizens Advisers, and the chance to work in the exciting world of socially responsible mutual fund investing. 

The main responsibility of each intern is to provide research assistance to the Research Analysts. Projects include: 

• Assisting with screening companies under consideration for inclusion in our funds for corporate, social and environmental performance. 
• Enter data and findings in custom database 
• Report findings to research analysts. 
• Team participation to research contents for various publishing efforts (books, position papers, articles posted to the website and included in the quarterly newsletter). 
• You will receive on-going feedback during the program, with a final written evaluation at the conclusion. 
• You will be required to provide a report describing a specific SRI topic (to be decided).

Qualifications: 

• Applicants must be college seniors or graduate students. 
• Applicant's course work must include one or more of the following subject areas: Economics, Corporate Finance, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, World History, American Government, Sociology and Political Science 
• Personal interest in corporate social responsibility topics or environmental sustainability issues is a plus.

Terms: 

• Please note that all positions are paid. 
• Please check with your professor regarding course credit requirements. 
• Full-time and part-time positions may be offered (minimum 15 hours per week)
