Responsibilities:

  • Manage all EH&S aspects at the project level.
  • Conduct all site safety orientations and daily safety meetings.
  • Investigate incidents and work-related illnesses; documenting incidents and investigations.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective action
  • Review, monitor and ensure compliance of all sub-contractors safety programs and implementation.
  • Complete safety inspections of project site and all safety required equipment.
  • Complete and maintain all safety records and reports according to Corporate Safety and Site Safety specific plan.
  • Use collaborative communication and team building skills (both written and oral) in expressing our commitment to safety to maintain a zero injury safety culture.
  • Work to make safety a behavior rather than a policy or goal.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in Safety/Occupational Health and/or 5+ years related experience with equivalent qualifications of training and related experience.
  • Knowledge of construction OSHA and other necessary safety standards
  • Individual certification and ability to train required:
    o OSHA 10 and 30 hour
    o High Angle Rescue/Fall Protection
    o CPR
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to assist with various duties that are in the best interest of the project.
  • Effective motivational and management skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and ability to communicate effectively with multiple personality types.
  • Ability to travel 100% is a must.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 (Hourly Wage)
