Position Overview:
This full time grant funded, term position is currently funded for a period of 3 years. This is a 12 month (year-round) faculty position. Under the supervision of the Integrated Energy Program Director, this faculty member will teach courses in the Instrumentation and Solar program. The incumbent will participate in adapting program curriculum into a hybrid model as well as the completion of a mobile training lab.
The position requires using blended online learning (hybrid) with hands-on lab delivered in compressed weekend on-site training and mobile labs. Work will include collaboration with industry partners, administration and faculty in relation to the Colorado Online Energy Training Consortium Grant (COETC), and other duties customary to a full time faculty member.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree with 6000 occupational hours in the past 5 years, or Bachelor’s degree with 4000 occupational hours in the past 5 years. A degree in a directly related field preferred. 1 year demonstrated teaching experience.
North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification required.
A valid Colorado Driver’s License is required. Travel, weekend, and evenings will be required.
Compensation: Salary range: $50,273 – $63,713, depending on education and experience.
