Position Overview:

We are searching for a highly motivated professional experienced in managing an inside sales team, including outbound lead-generation function. Must be detail-oriented and able to motivate and manage in fast-paced emerging technology environment.

Position is based in Boston. Local Boston candidates only. This role does not offer relocation assistance. 

Responsibilities: 

Sales Management

  • Manage and motivate growing team of Inside Sales and Business Development Associates
  • Work closely across entire sales team including Sales Directors and Application Engineers
  • Direct interaction with channel partners, customers and prospects
  • Design and implement programs to target specific customer categories and geographies
  • Assess and optimize programs for maximum effectivness
  • Work cross functionally with Sales Operations, Finance and Marketing 

Performance Metrics

  • Set and communicate clear and measurable goals to team
  • Provide regular reporting on performance of team vs. goal
  • Understand and communicate to Sales Management capacity expectations for hiring purposes
  • Provide quarterly performance reviews 

Qualifications:

Specific Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead
  • Experience working with reseller channel sales
  • Strong listening and communication skills key to this role
  • Experience with and commitment to salesforce.com
  • Strong attention to detail 

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Finance
  • 5 to 10 years of Sales Management experience in high growth technology environment
