Position Overview:
We are searching for a highly motivated professional experienced in managing an inside sales team, including outbound lead-generation function. Must be detail-oriented and able to motivate and manage in fast-paced emerging technology environment.
Position is based in Boston. Local Boston candidates only. This role does not offer relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Manage and motivate growing team of Inside Sales and Business Development Associates
- Work closely across entire sales team including Sales Directors and Application Engineers
- Direct interaction with channel partners, customers and prospects
- Design and implement programs to target specific customer categories and geographies
- Assess and optimize programs for maximum effectivness
- Work cross functionally with Sales Operations, Finance and Marketing
Performance Metrics
- Set and communicate clear and measurable goals to team
- Provide regular reporting on performance of team vs. goal
- Understand and communicate to Sales Management capacity expectations for hiring purposes
- Provide quarterly performance reviews
Qualifications:
Specific Skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead
- Experience working with reseller channel sales
- Strong listening and communication skills key to this role
- Experience with and commitment to salesforce.com
- Strong attention to detail
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Finance
- 5 to 10 years of Sales Management experience in high growth technology environment
