Position Overview
We are seeling Intern candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week (to be determined based on workloads and individual availability). Please visit our website for further information on our company, services, and projects.
Responsibilities / experince you'll gain
- Position includes assisting in watershed modeling related work.
- Work may include construction and review of hydrology and hydrologic models associated with new or re-development, watershed and municipal planning and design, Low Impact Development (LID), agricultural Best Management Practices including water quality.
- Modeling data collection, preparation and analysis using ArcGIS, QGIS, Microsoft Excel, or Access.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements
- BS or MS in civil, agricultural, geological or water resources related engineering curriculum with a strong technical writing skill is required.
- Experience with GIS/CAD platforms, water quality and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HydroCAD, Autodesk SSA, TR-20, XP/PC/INFO/EPA-SWMM, HSPF, ArcSWAT, P8, WinSLAMM), software is preferred.
