Position Overview:
Hennebery Eddy is seeking an experienced Architect, or Intern Architect on-track to become licensed, with 4-12 years of professional experience and a passion for Historic Preservation.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Historic Preservation.
- Experience and knowledge related to the preservation and rehabilitation of historic assets including familiarity with the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places program, coordination with the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office - including the Oregon Special Assessment Program, Federal Tax Incentive programs, and best practices. Strong design skills.
- Collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and jurisdictions.
- Ability to foster innovation in construction technology and sustainable applications. Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills.
- Strong writing/editing skills.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- 2-D and 3-D computer graphic skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relations.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Revit.
- LEED Accreditation. Architectural License.
- Strong hand sketching ability.
