The allows building designers to simulate the full performance of their design, and as the industry rises to meet the challenge of sustainable development, the demand for our products is growing rapidly. To meet that demand we are recruiting to expand our team of building simulation engineers.
The Role:
Plays an integral role in an expanding international consulting team (Glasgow, Dublin, London, San Francisco, Boston, Melbourne); provides creative simulation analysis for developing sustainable building designs; advises clients on the results of those simulations, and builds capacity in others through training. In addition you will be assisting to redefine to the industry the concept of integrated design. We guarantee you will not be bored!
The Candidate:
* Degree in engineering, (building design, building services, mechanical, environmental, architectural or similar) or architecture with a demonstrated technical focus.
* Professional experience preferred, however IES is interested in candidates of all experience levels.
* Experience with types of building simulation software (daylighting, thermal, computational fluid dynamics, etc.), however experience using it not an explicit requirement. IES will provide full training to the right candidate(s).
* Strong communicator with an interest in diverse experiences and quantifying impacts to inform sustainable design
* Preference for LEED accredited professionals with experience of using simulation software.
