Position Overview:
This position leads the graphic design, coordination, and production of printed marketing materials, website development, communication tools and promotional components in delivery of our energy efficiency programs. Target audiences include utilities, retailers, consumers, business owners, and manufacturers.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that messages are effectively communicated, materials are high quality, and deadlines and budgets are met. This position oversees all aspects of materials design and production, including sourcing and maintaining relationships with printers, programmers, and other vendors, obtaining competitive bids and tracking project progress.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in creating and delivering a broad range of marketing materials. Experience working with print and fulfillment vendors and an understanding of various pre-press, printing and web production methods is required. Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to multitask is a must. Successful candidates will be highly organized, creative, detail- and solution-oriented and team-focused.
Responsibilities:
- Design, schedule and manage the production of program associated collateral
- Negotiate with vendors
- Research external sources to provide the latest creative options
- Work with program team to develop material and promotional concepts
Qualifications:
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically
- Flexible to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demands
- Ability to work under pressure, with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong problem-solving skills and issue resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work miracles on occasion is preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Dreamweaver is a must. A degree, preferably in graphic design, marketing, and communications, or equivalent educational experience is a plus.
