Grants Writer

Bearnstow is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization (i.d.01-0271792) based on 60 acres of environmentally protected land on Parker Pond in Mount Vernon, Maine.We are seeking a Grants Writerto help raise funds in support of our summer educational programs (week-long workshops in concert dance and related arts).

Funds are needed to:

• ease our current budget (annual operating expenses are $22,000)
• improve our current facilities (repair, reroof, refurnish ($100,000)
• to eventually enlarge our facility

Compensation will be commission-based. Ifselected applicant chooses to attend any workshops at Bearnstow, R&B will be provided. Applicant will be able to work from own office.
