Job Overview:

The Financial Products and Services (FPS) Associate's primary responsibility is financial analysis. This position will support the development and delivery of financial advisory services to WWB network members. S/he will provide due diligence and compliance monitoring and play a key role in helping to build the capabilities of the WWB Global Team in financial analysis.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist Relationship Managers to identify, plan and respond to WWB affiliates and associates technical assistance needs;  
• Support management of Affiliate Capitalization, Loan Guarantee, and Investment Program Pilot programs;  
• Contribute to the development and delivery of financial brokering and advisory services to network members;  
• Participate in securing commercial funding from local and international financial institutions and capital markets, in support of the integration of network members into financial markets;  
• Provide treasury and financial management services to network members in areas including interest rate management, foreign exchange exposure, liquidity risk and capital structure;  
• Contribute to the research and development of innovations in financial products and services for network members.

Job Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics or international development;  
• 3+ years banking experience with knowledge in negotiating bank facilities, capital markets transactions and/or equity transactions with banks and/or investors;  
• Experience in microfinance and/or international development;  
• Demonstrated strong financial management, accounting and analytical skills;  
• Overseas experience preferred;  
• Bi-lingual Spanish and English; French desired;  
• Available to travel up to 30% of time.
