Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst works directly with business units on analysis, initiatives, & action plans to improve financial performance including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for cash flow analysis, monthly forecasting, budget variance analysis and financial quantitative analysis
  • Responsible for input, enhancement and maintenance of the monthly sales, revenue and margin forecast model
  • Prepare a timely, clear, and concise financial and management reporting packages outlining the monthly, quarterly, & year to date financial statement performance of actual results & rolling forecast to plan, KPI's and other operational reports as necessary
  • Prepare project cost reporting and analysis
  • Perform research and analysis to provide management with financial data and recommendations for use in the financial planning of company operations, and in setting and realizing profit objectives
  • Conduct, document, & share the results of regular operating performance & forecast reviews with divisional executive management teams
  • Support the annual sales compensation planning process and prepare the monthly commission reporting
  • Key financial support for the development of annual operating budget including sales, revenue and expense budgets fully supported with KPI's and related business drivers
  • Support the BU by working directly with members of the accounting/finance department and operating companies to access financial and production data, maximize efficiencies, streamline the data gathering process, enable analysis not supported by our current financial and production systems and to generate key reports in a timely manner
  • Perform benchmarking analysis to related industry & best practice organizations in related areas to identify areas of operational & financial improvement
  • Support the Finance group with special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance experience with increasing responsibility;
  • Percentage of completion accounting & distribution experience preferred;
  • Strong verbal/written communication, analytical, organizational, & time management skills;
  • Lead & interact in cross-functional teams to achieve desired organizational objectives;
  • Experience in high growth organizations;
  • Operationally focused, highly motivated, self starter who is committed to excellence;
  • Customer service focus & orientation;
  • Highly proficient with Oracle, MS Excel, Access, Word, & PowerPoint;
