Farming Intern

This summer and/or fall, we are seeking 2 or 3 interns to help out on our 1800 acre family farm in South Dakota. We grow a variety of grains and maintain a herd of naturally-fed beef cattle. Horses are used for herding.

Intern responsibilities vary widely, and may include repairing/constructing fences, painting, small construction projects, assisting with animals, and more. Mechanical skills are appreciated but not required. Most important prerequisites are a good work ethic and a strong interest in learning about small farm operation. Lodging and meals are provided.
